ANAESTHESIOLOGY

Medstar's anesthesiology department provides superior patient-centred anaesthetic care,with skilled anaesthesia services and specialists available around the world.The doctors of our team are skilled anesthesiologists who have worked as practitioners for numerous years, addressing patients.Our anaesthetic practice has significantly expanded in both volume and scope during the last few years. The research we conduct in the basic, translational, and clinical domains as well as our medical education programs are expanding at the same time as that growth.

FACILITIES PROVIDED

The anaesthesia department runs a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit and provides Dubai’s best and leading anaesthetic services to around 12,000–14,000 patients annually.The purchase of top-tier ultrasound equipment with AI support, the creation of a postgraduate skill lab, and expanded operating room capabilities are examples of recent developments.

OUR EXPERTISE

The department's development and improved skills are reflected in the high increase in surgeries this year. Faculty members have made contributions to emergency medicine, paediatric anaesthesia, and perioperative echocardiography that have earned them fellowships and prizes. The team of professionals of the Department of Anesthesiology is made up of senior paediatric anesthesiologists who are dedicated to offering the finest care possible. They are diverse, well integrated, and cooperative. A large number of the department's faculty members teach learner-forward postgraduate and continuing education courses in addition to conducting influential basic and clinical research.
